Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat today said that tourism is no longer a peripheral sector but a key driver of national transformation.

Adressing the IndiaEdge 2025 Conference in New Delhi, he said that the government has conducted a detailed study of tourism policies of all the states. The Minister said that the central government is working with state governments, district administrations and local bodies to transform tourist destinations into seamless, end-to-end experiences.
