Top political leaders give final push to sway voters as campaigning in West Bengal concludes tomorrow

Electioneering intensified in West Bengal ahead of the first phase of the Assembly election, which will be held on 23rd April. In the process of political canvassing, all the parties are doing hard campaigning to win the hearts of the voters in West Bengal. While BJP leaders and Chief Ministers of other BJP-ruled states are regularly coming to West Bengal.
 
Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee is travelling across the state. Other leaders of the Trinamool Congress are also campaigning in support of party candidates. Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, it’s president Mallikarjun Kharge, and Telangana minister Mohammad Azharuddin, are busy in public meetings in different places of West Bengal. Left and other parties are also campaigning.
 
Today, BJP president Nitin Nabin joined a roadshow in Digha. Rajnath Singh was busy in Birbhum district. BJP leader JP Nadda campaigned in Bankura and Purulia districts. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also addressed a public rally in Garbeta. Trinamool Congress chief and state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee attended public rally at Khardaha of North 24 Parganas and strongly criticised BJP over the women reservation bill.
 
BJP pointed towards the women’s safety issues in West Bengal and unemployment in the state. Congress also attacked BJP over the women reservation issue. Left has pointed towards the alleged understanding between BJP and Trinamool Congress.
