In Jammu and Kashmir, under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the Jammu district administration today organised a grand Tiranga Yatra to mark Independence Day celebrations. Our Jammu Correspondent reports that massive participation was seen in Maha Tiranga Yatra. Enthusiasm of dignitaries, civil society members, school students in the rally filled the air with patriotic fervor and love for the motherland. A large number of people participated, pledging to work towards the country’s progress. In Kathua, Deputy Commissioner, Rajesh Sharma flagged off a massive Tiranga Rally from Sports Stadium Kathua, where enthusiastic youngsters and citizens turned up in huge numbers despite heavy rainfall, carrying the Tricolour with pride. District Administration Poonch also organized a massive Tiranga rally, which saw enthusiastic participation despite persistent heavy rainfall. In a vibrant display of patriotism, District administration Ramban also organized a ‘Tiranga Bike Rally’. In a unique celebration of patriotism and engineering achievement, a grand Tringa Rally was also organized on the world’s highest railway bridge-the iconic Chenab Bridge in Reasi district ahead of the 79th Independence Day. The rally was attended by locals, tourists, officials, and security personnel, showcased the national tricolor fluttering proudly against the breathtaking backdrop of the Chenab River and surrounding mountains. Participants carried the Tiranga while raising slogans of unity and national pride, creating a historic and vibrant scene on the engineering marvel.The rally not only marked the spirit of independence but also celebrated the Chenab Bridge as a testament to India’s infrastructural progress.
