The third edition of Maritime Information Sharing Workshop concluded in Gurugram today. The Ministry of Defence said that the workshop aimed at enhancing real-time coordination, interoperability, and information sharing through focused deliberations. It brought together 57 participants from 30 countries. Information Fusion Centre- Indian Ocean Region hosted the workshop on the theme Enhancing Real-Time Coordination and Information Sharing Across the Indian Ocean Region. The workshop featured a table-top exercise on indigenously developed software Maritime Analytical Tool for Regional Awareness. A Maritime Security Seminar was also conducted as part of the workshop that concluded yesterday.
