NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) chief Sharad Pawar today said that the party has recorded an amazing strike rate as it leads in seven out of the ten seats it contested in Maharashtra. Addressing a press conference in Mumbai, Mr. Pawar said he was always confident that the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency would vote for his daughter and sitting MP Supriya Sule as he shares a 60 year long association with the region. Crediting the MahaVikas Aghadi for a great performance, Mr. Pawar said the results are inspiring and encouraging with the state assembly polls scheduled later for this year.
Stating that the public has shown the BJP that it does not support divisive politics, Mr. Pawar said the trends in the Hindi belt, especially in Uttar Pradesh have been beyond expectations.
