Textiles Committee, under the Union Ministry of Textiles, organized an awareness workshop under the Jute Mark India (JMI) Scheme, in Mumbai yesterday. This workshop was designed to equip the artisans, Self Help Group, Jute Diversified Product manufacturers, responsible Citizens and other stakeholders with detailed knowledge of the JMI scheme and to ensure the safeguarding of the interests of grassroots-level stakeholders in the jute industry.

Maharashtra Minister of Textiles Sanjay Waman Sawakare emphasized quality improvement and promotion of Jute products, among others.
