In Telangana, two girl students, one each from Kamareddy and Nizamabad districts, bagged top marks in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) board examinations. Both Nimma Anchitha of Kamareddy and Sripa Kriti of Nizamabad secured 596 marks in the 10th class board examinations. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy released the results last evening in Hyderabad.
The state recorded a 92.78 pass percentage, which is a 1.47 increase over the last year, while 4 lakh 96 thousand regular students appeared for the exams.
The Telangana State Residential Schools secured the highest pass percentage of 98.79 among the managements. The Telangana residential, BC-welfare residential, social welfare residential, tribal welfare residential, minority residential, model schools, ashram, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalay and private schools secured more pass percentage than the State average, while private aided, ZP, and government schools scored less pass percentage than State average (92.78 percent).
Over two thousand Private Schools, 16 hundred 75 Zilla Parishad schools, 143 BC Welfare schools, 126 Ashram schools, and 108 Social Welfare schools secured 100 per cent passes.
