Telangana State Assembly has taken up a resolution that strongly condemned the Centre’s approach towards Telangana state in Union Budget 2024-25. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy proposed a resolution to this effect in the Assembly. 

He said it is discrimination against the state. Supporting the resolution, State Legislative affairs minister D Sridhar Babu said the centre has ignored over 30 assurances given to Telangana under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2014.  Discussion is underway on the proposed resolution.
