The Monsoon Session of the Telangana State Legislature will begin on the 30th of this month. Assembly Telangana Governor, Jishnu Dev Varma, issues a notification to this effect. The state government is expected to table the report of the Justice PC Ghose Commission on the Kaleswaram Lift Irrigation Project during the session.

Though the agenda is yet to be finalised, several public issues, like the availability of fertilisers, among others, may come up for discussion. The business advisory committee of the Assembly has yet to meet to decide the agenda of the House. Meanwhile, a meeting of the Council of Ministers will be held on Friday in Hyderabad.
