In Telangana, 9.2 per cent polling was recorded by 9 AM in the bye-poll in Jubilee Hill Assembly constituency. Polling began on a brisk note in Jubilee Hills starting from the first hour. Electors in areas like densely populated Yellareddyguda in the constituency, queued up before polling stations waiting for their turns to cast their votes. Over 4 lakh electors are likely to exercise their franchise in 407 polling stations. The polling will continue till 6 PM. A total 58 candidates are on the fray of Bye-election, which was necessitated following the demise of sitting MLA M Gopinath.
