Teachers’ Day is being celebrated throughout the country today. The day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of educationist and former President Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. President Droupadi Murmu will confer the National Awards to Teachers at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, today.
This prestigious annual award recognises outstanding teachers whose dedication and commitment have elevated the quality of education and profoundly impacted the lives of their students.

He emphasised that honouring teachers is not merely a ritual but a recognition of their lifelong dedication and impact.
The Prime Minister extended his heartfelt congratulations to all recipients of the National Teachers’ Awards. Mr Modi stated that their selection is a recognition of their hard work and unwavering dedication. The Prime Minister highlighted that teachers not only shape the present but also mould the future of the nation, making their role one of the highest forms of national service.
