In Tamil Nadu, preparations are in full swing for the counting of votes for Assembly elections, to be held on Monday. Single-phase polling for all 234 constituencies in the state was held on 23rd of April. The state has 188 general constituencies, 44 reserved constituencies, and two Scheduled Tribe constituencies. A total of 4,023 candidates were in the fray this time. Counting on Monday will begin at 8 AM, starting with postal ballots.
