The non resident Tamils welfare department helpline within India is 1800 309 3793. A missed call can be given to 91 80 6900 9900 or 91 80 6900 9901.

Several flights from Chennai to Middle East destinations like Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha have been cancelled due to the sudden escalation of tension between Israel and Iran. At Least 15 departures from Chennai operated by different airlines were cancelled yesterday. International flights of IndiGo, Air Arabia, Etihad, Oman Air, Air Arabia, Emirates, Qatar and Oman Airlines have also called flights to many parts of the Middle East.
