In Tamil Nadu, the Chief Electoral Officer, Archana Patnaik has released nine regulations from tomorrow evening till elections are over. This includes no display of any election matter through social media and all forms of electronic communication, and also through any theatrical performances in which the public is involved.

Political functionaries and party workers from outside constituencies should leave after six pm tomorrow. The permission for Star campaigners will not be valid after six pm tomorrow. On the day of the poll, one vehicle will be permitted and another for the use of the election agent or workers.

The permits for the vehicles will be issued by the Returning Officer. No candidate will be allowed to use a vehicle by the candidate or his agent for transporting the voters.
