In Tamil Nadu, twenty-six Bangladeshis were arrested at Tiruppur today. On receiving information that they were staying without proper documents, the State Police raided their houses at Palladam. It was found that the Bangladeshis were working as labourers with fake Aadhaar IDs. An inquiry has been ordered over the illegal stay and the connections therewith.
