Rajya Sabha continues discussion on significance of 150th Anniversary of the National Song Vande Mataram

The Rajya Sabha today resumed the discussion on the 150th Anniversary of the National Song Vande Mataram. Union Home Minister Amit Shah had initiated the discussion on Vande Mataram yesterday. Participating in the discussion, Jairam Ramesh of Congress, alleged that this discussion on Vande Mataram was aimed at discrediting Jawaharlal Nehru.
