10 Naxalites Surrender in Madhya Pradesh, Including ₹77-Lakh Bounty Commander

Madhya Pradesh has achieved a major success in its efforts to eliminate Naxalism. In the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, 10 Naxalites surrendered in Balaghat district under the “Rehabilitation to Renewal” programme.  They  include the Rs 77-lakh bounty commander Surendar alias Kabir.  This surrender highlights the effectiveness of the state government’s Naxal rehabilitation policy.
