Taiwan Detects Six Chinese Air Sorties and Seven Naval Vessels Near Island

Taiwan detected six sorties of Chinese military aircraft and seven naval vessels operating around the island this morning. In a statement released by the Ministry of National Defence, two of the six sorties crossed the Taiwan Strait's median line and entered the island's southwestern air defence identification zone (ADIZ).   It said they have monitored the situation and responded to it.
