Earthquake of magnitude 4.1 jolts Dhaka and surrounding areas

In Bangladesh, Dhaka woke up to mild tremors early this morning as an earthquake struck the capital and surrounding areas around 6:15 am.   According to India's National Centre for Seismology, the quake measured 4.1 on the Richter scale, with its epicentre located in Narsingdi near Dhaka.    There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
