Indian Railways facilitates travel of 65 lakh passengers by running 4,521 special trains during past 36 days

Indian Railways facilitated the travel of 65 lakh passengers by running 4,521 special trains in the last thirty-six days. The Railways has scheduled 160 Special Trains daily from the 8th to the 11th of this month in view of the Chhath Puja festival. Railways records freight loading of 126 MT for August 2023

Indian Railways has achieved freight loading of over 634 million tonnes between April and August this year which is over 13 million tonnes more than the corresponding period last year.
