Incessant rain continues across Arunachal Pradesh

Incessant rain continues across Arunachal Pradesh. The India Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in three districts in the state. The districts for which a Red Alert is issued are East Siang, Leparada and Kra Daadi. Other 10 districts are under an orange alert and the rest are in the yellow zone. The IMD has said that thunderstorms with lightning and very heavy rain are very likely at isolated places in the state.

The India Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate, fairly widespread to widespread rainfall over the Eastern part of the country till the 22nd of this month.
