CBI Registers FIR in Aqil Akhter Murder Case Against Former Punjab DGP and Ex-Minister

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered an FIR in the Aqil Akhter murder case against four people, including a former Punjab DGP and a former PWD minister of Punjab. According to the CBI, the deceased died under suspicious circumstances last month, and all the accused in this case are his family members.   The Investigation Agency added that the deceased had earlier accused his family members of conspiring to kill him or to implicate him in a false case.
