Bareilly remains peaceful ahead of Friday prayers; internet suspended for 48 hours

Situation in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh remained peaceful and under control. Security was strengthened in several sensitive areas ahead of the prayers on Friday, a week after the city witnessed violence following the congregational prayers. Administration has put a 48 hour ban on internet services in the district.
