On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, observed as National Youth Day, the Swami Vivekananda Chetna Mahotsav was organised today in Bilaspur city of Chhattisgarh.

 

On this occasion, about one thousand five hundred children, dressed in the attire of Swami Vivekananda, collectively rendered the Vande Mataram. During the programme, Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao administered a pledge to the children to stay away from intoxicants. The children also resolved to create awareness among others against drug abuse.
