The Information and Broadcasting Ministry today said that over one thousand 500 spots were cleaned under the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign, which concluded on the 2nd of this month. The Ministry said, it conducted 2 thousand 766 events under different themes like cleaning of Cleanliness Target Units, cleanliness campaign, door-to-door activities, drawing competitions, swachhta rallies, and various cultural activities. Over 59 thousand people participated in these events. Meanwhile, special events under Ek Din Ek Ghanta Ek Sath were organised on the 25th of last month and Swachh Bharat Diwas on the 2nd of this month.
