Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, said that various strategic initiatives of the Government, including Make in India, Digital India, Startup India, Swachh Bharat, and Atmanirbhar Bharat, have collectively prepared the mindset of the nation to be resilient, self-sufficient, and become a bigger player in global trade. Speaking after inaugurating the ‘Bharat Calling Conference 2025’ in Mumbai, the Union Minister further said that to become a developed nation, India has to open its businesses to international trade. He highlighted that Quality Management and Handholding of Small Business, Sustainability, Inclusive Growth, Skill Development, and Competitiveness and Efficiency are the five key enablers for Viksit Bharat@2047. Mr Goyal stated that India is at the crux of a quality revolution. He urged that it is time for businesses to adopt modern quality standards and ensure that our ecosystem is trained toward good quality and follows good manufacturing practices. The theme of the conference is ‘Path to Viksit Bharat 2047: Pioneering Prosperity for All.
