Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai today said the role of Shashtra Seema Bal (SSB) is very crucial in the security management of borders and protecting the sovereignty of the country along the Nepal and Bhutan frontiers.

Mr. Rai said the centre is committed to modernisation, providing resources, better training and other facilities to the SSB personnel.

The Union Minister was addressing the Passing Out Parade of 8th Basic Recruit Training Course at Aasanpur Kupaha in Supaul in Bihar.

56 trainee cadets today passed out after the grand passing out parade at the BRTC. Skilful and jaw-dropping demonstrations and displays of the band mesmerized the audiences.

Mr. Rai also presented trophies to the trainees who exhibited outstanding performances in various disciplines during the training.

Director General of SSB, Amrit Mohan Prasad also addressed the ceremony and extended greetings to the trainees for their better future.
