The Sports Authority of India in collaboration with MyBharat has launched three nationwide engagement initiatives ahead of the Commonwealth Games 2030 to promote sporting spirit, creativity and youth participation across the country.
The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports said that initiatives include the Commonwealth Games 2030 Torch Design Contest, CWG Reel Challenge and Commonwealth Games 2030 Quiz.
The competitions are open to all MyBharat users and aim to build awareness and excitement around the vision of CWG2030InBharat. The Commonwealth Games 2030 is set to be hosted in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The Commonwealth Games 2030 Quiz features ten multiple-choice questions to be completed within five minutes. Participants must score at least eight marks to qualify and only one attempt is allowed per participant.
The quiz will remain open till 26th September this year and top five winners will be announced every week. Participation certificates will also be provided.
The Ministry informed that all three initiatives are free of cost and aim to encourage greater public participation, especially among youth, in India’s sporting movement.
