Chasing 214 for victory, India were bundled out for 162 with 5 balls to spare. Earlier, put into bat, the visitors posted 213 runs for the loss of four wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Quinton de Kock scored 90 for South Africa while Tilak Verma contributed 62 for India. Ottneil Baartman picked up 4 wickets for the visitors while Varun Chakaravarthy scalped 2 wickets for the hosts. Quinton de Kock was adjudged player of the match. The five-match series is now levelled 1-1.
