South Africa Beat New Zealand by 6 Wickets in Women’s ODI World Cup Clash

 
 
In the Women’s ODI World Cup Cricket, South Africa defeated New Zealand by 6 wickets at Holkar Stadium in Indore last night. South Africa comfortably surpassed the target of 232 runs, scoring 234 runs for 4  in  40.5 overs, with Tazmin Brits making 101 runs while Sune Luus scored an unbeaten 83 runs. Tazmin Brits was declared Player of the Match. For New Zealand, Amelia Kerr scalped two wickets while Jess Kerr and Lea Tahuhu took a wicket each.
 
 
Earlier, New Zealand were bundled out in 47.5 overs, scoring 231 runs. For South Africa, Nonkululeko Mlaba scalped four wickets while Marizanne Kapp, Ayabonga Khaka, Nadine de Klerk and Chloe Tryon took a wicket each. Today, England will take on Bangladesh at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. The match will start at 3 PM Indian Standard Time. A total of eight teams are participating in the World Cup. Indian women defeating Sri Lanka and Pakistan and having four points are at the top of the table.
