A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)  has been issued to streamline the supply of commercial LPG cylinders in Uttarakhand. According to the SOP released by the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, a total of 2,650 cylinders will be made available daily to commercial gas connection holders across the state.

 

The companies responsible for distribution have also been directed to provide complete details of the supply to the respective District Magistrates. The SOP further specifies district-wise allocation of commercial LPG cylinders.

 

Dehradun has received the highest allocation at 31%, while Haridwar and Nainital have been allotted 13% each. Other districts will receive cylinders based on their requirements and the number of connections.
