Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment will celebrate the International Day of Older Persons 2025 in New Delhi tomorrow. The Ministry in a statement, said that the programme will highlight the government’s commitment to create a dignified and enabling ecosystem for senior citizens emphasizing on the theme of Ageing with Dignity.

It will promote the holistic development of senior citizens through collaboration, innovation, and senior citizens-centric welfare programmes. During the event, Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between Defence Ministry, Telecommunications Consultants India Limited and Birla Open Minds Foundation. Along with that Naitik Patam-a game to promote inter-generational bonding will also be launched.
