In Jammu and Kashmir, the Doda district administration in collaboration with the 4 Rastriya Rifles regiment of the army and Bhaderwah Development Authority (BDA) will be organising “Snow Marathon – Run for Martyrs” on February 16.
Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that the Snow Marathon aims to pay tribute to the brave martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation, promoting a spirit of patriotism and unity among participants.
The event carries the theme “Feel the Snow, Feel the Pride” and encourages citizens to join the run for honour and patriotism.
The Snow Marathon will cover a distance of 5 kilometres. The race will commence from the Chinta area of Bhaderwah at 9 AM and conclude at Jai Ghati. Registration for the marathon is open to all.
