Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana has secured the top spot among batters in the world in Women’s ODI rankings.
She achieved the rating of 828 points, which puts her nearly 100 points ahead of the second-placed player, Ashleigh Gardner of Australia-thanks to her spectacular performance in the home ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, which included a brilliant 109 against New Zealand and an unbeaten 34 against Bangladesh. She was also named the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for September 2025.
While her opening partner, Pratika Rawal, also saw a big jump to 27th place with 564 points before unfortunately having to pull out of the rest of the tournament due to injury.
Among bowlers, England’s Sophie Ecclestone leads with 747 ratings, while Australia’s Alana King moved to second place, edging teammate Ash Gardner to third spot.
