Sindoor proves new India responds firmly to any threat against its sovereignty, says HM Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reiterated the Modi government’s unwavering stance on terrorism and Naxalism. Referring to the recent tragic killing of tourists in Pahalgam, Shah highlighted India’s swift and decisive response through ‘Operation Sindoor’, which targeted terrorist bases across the border in Pakistan. Addressing a public rally in Nanded during his Maharashtra tour, he said, the operation sent a strong message to the world that the new India will respond firmly to any threat against its people and sovereignty.
Earlier Union Home Minister unveiled a full-length statue of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Vasantrao Naik. Mr. Shah praised Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for his work in addressing water scarcity in the drought-affected Marathwada region. He assured the public that under the Water Grid Scheme, the region will have an adequate water supply within five years.
Shah’s Maharashtra visit will continue in Mumbai, where he is scheduled to attend the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Madhavbagh Laxminarayan Temple tomorrow. The event will feature a series of cultural programs to commemorate the historic occasion.
