The Simlipal National Park in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha will remain closed for tourists for three days from 4th to 6th of February in view of the visit of President Droupadi Murmu to the state. President Murmu is scheduled to arrive in her home state Odisha on a five-day visit from 2nd of February. She will reach Bhubaneswar on the same day and stay overnight in the state capital. On 3rd of February, the President will attend the convocation ceremony of Fakir Mohan University in Balasore as the chief guest. On the next day, she is scheduled to visit Jajpur, where she will offer prayers at the Biraja Temple. During the final leg of her Odisha tour, the President will visit Mayurbhanj district on 5th and 6th of February, where she is slated to participate in multiple official and cultural programmes and also visit the Simlipal National Park.
