Shri Krishna temples across Gujarat celebrate Phuldol Mahotsav

Many revered Shri Krishna temples across Gujarat celebrated the Phuldol Mahotsav with traditional fervour and spiritual joy on the occasion of Holi today. Devotees gathered in large numbers at the renowned Dwarkadhish temple and Ranchhodrai temple in Dakor to witness the vibrant celebrations.

At the Dwarkadhish Temple, the Lord was seated in a beautifully decorated floral ‘Hindola’, where devotees immersed themselves in the ‘Rangotsav’ by offering abhil and Gulal. At the Raja Ranchhodraiji Temple in Dakor, Lord played Holi with his devotees as saffron-coloured water was sprinkled using a traditional golden pichkari. Kalia Thakor was also adorned with a unique ‘Haarda’ – a traditional garland made of sugar syrup – and offered seasonal delicacies like grapes, ‘dhani’, and ‘khajur’ to mark the onset of summer. Amid the lunar eclipse and the unique tradition of viewing the Lord through a protective iron grille, thousands of pilgrims sought blessings through the rhythmic chants of bhajans. Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi also visited Dakor to offer prayers for the peace and prosperity of the state.
