Union Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today held a virtual meeting with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to discuss the implementation and progress of agriculture and rural development schemes.
Talking to the media in New Delhi today, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister said that during the meeting, they discussed the issue of the chilli farmers in the state. He said that chilli farmers are suffering this year because of prices and are incurring huge losses. Mr. Naidu urged the agriculture minister to intervene immediately through market intervention. Civil Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu was also present at the meeting.
