The Shaurya Bharat Car Rally was flagged off by the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, from Air Force Station in New Delhi today. The aim of this car rally is to commemorate the success of “Operation Sindoor” and honour the valour of our Armed Forces. The rally is conducted by Progress Harmony Development Chamber of Commerce and Industry in coordination with the Air Force to instil the spirit of Rashtra Ka Maan, Shaurya Ke Saath, Paryyavaran ka Vikas. It will now proceed to Air Force Station Adampur, via Air Force Station Ambala and will culminate on Sunday. The rally will also visit colleges and universities and interact and inspire youth, and motivate them to consider a career in the Armed Forces, emphasising the values of courage, discipline, and patriotism.
Conducted under the aegis of Directorate of Adventure, the rally features a total of 112 participants from the three Services, Indian Coast Guard, DRDO and NCC . It will cover approx 800 kilometres in 40 vehicles, mainly Electric Vehicles (EVs).
