President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi today. Welcoming President Vučić at Rashtrapati Bhavan, President Murmu said that from being co-founders of the Non-Aligned Movement to currently being partners in the Global South, India and Serbia share a special bond. The President said, Artificial Intelligence is an area where both Serbia and India can deepen collaboration.

President Murmu said that there is also good scope to expand bilateral trade and investment between the two nations in areas such as IT, manufacturing, agriculture, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, tourism and education. The two leaders agreed that there is immense potential for further deepening bilateral cooperation between India and Serbia.

They emphasised the continued cooperation between the two countries for the mutual benefit and prosperity of peoples. Recalling her visit to Serbia in June 2023, President Murmu thanked the Serbian President and the Government for their hospitality.
