Benchmark domestic equity indices today ended with cuts of nearly half per cent after swinging between the gains and losses during the intra-day trade. Sensex fell 368 points to close at 80 thousand 236. Nifty also dipped 98 points to settle at 24 thousand 487. The broader market indices at the Bombay Stock Exchange closed mixed. The Mid-Cap index lost 0.25 per cent, while the Small-Cap index ended flat.
