Benchmark domestic equity indices, Sensex and Nifty, were continuing their positive momentum in afternoon trade with both the indices rising around half per cent each. Barring Consumer Durables, all other sectors were trading firm. Sensex advanced 388 points, to 80 thousand 246 and Nifty added 122 points to 24 thousand 485, a short while ago. The broader market at the Bombay Stock Exchange were also in positive territory. The Mid-Cap index rose half per cent, while the Small-Cap index was marginally up by 0.1 per cent, a short while ago.
