Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that the party tried to create an atmosphere against the government in the interest of the public, but the public did not give Congress the mandate in Delhi. He said Congress accepts the public’s verdict. Mr. Kharge added that in the coming days, Congress will continue to raise issues of pollution, cleaning of the River Yamuna, roads, water, and development in Delhi.
Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said his party accepts the mandate of Delhi with humility. In a social media post today, Mr. Gandhi thanked all Congress workers in Delhi for their dedication. He added that the fight against pollution, inflation, and corruption will continue.
