In Punjab, the Self-enumeration for Census 2027 has started yesterday and will continue till the 14th of this month followed by the Houselisting Phase from till 13th June. Self-enumeration enables individuals to conveniently submit their demographic and socio-economic details online from the comfort of their homes.

 

This initiative of Self-enumeration significantly reduces the need for physical interaction while enhancing the efficiency, coverage, and reliability of data collection. 

 

Administrative Secretary, Department of Local Government, Manjit Singh Brar and Director, Census Operations, Punjab and Chandigarh, Dr. Navjot Khosa appealed to all residents to actively participate in the national Census process through online portal.
