In TamilNadu, security has been tightened at important places all through the State. Passengers at the Chennai International airport have been asked to report three and a half hours before their scheduled for international flights and one and a half hours prior to their domestic flights. A five tier security has been deployed throughout the vicinity of the airport. Vehicles at the departure and arrival at the airport are being checked by the CISF personnel. Security has been stepped up at the Cargo terminal also. Similarly additional security has been deployed at other airports, railway stations, renowned temples and main areas where people are crowded. Surveillance has been stepped up including intensified vehicle checks and enhanced patrolling all over the State.
