In Manipur, security forces continued search and cordon operations in sensitive areas to bring normalcy in the State.

 

 

According to Manipur Police Control Room, a search operation was conducted by security forces in Phubala Mamang Patton under Moirang Police Station in Bishnupur district yesterday and arms and ammunition were recovered.

 

 

The recovered items include one SLR rifle without a magazine, two SBBL, one revolver, one 9mm Pistol with a magazine, one Hand Grenade, one Detonator, one Baofeng Handset, one Helmet, two bulletproof jackets and other items, including live ammunition.

 

 

The report further said that an active militant cadre of KCP (MC Progressive) was arrested near the Inter-State Bus Terminal at Khaman Lampak in Imphal West district yesterday.
