On the sidelines of ongoing BRICS MENA Consultations, Secretary (South) in the Ministry of External Affairs, Dr Neena Malhotra, met Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Georgy Borisenko. In a social media post, the External Affairs Ministry said that during the meeting, the two sides exchanged their views on the recent developments in the MENA region. He added that both sides also discussed some bilateral aspects of cooperation between the two friendly countries.

 

Meanwhile, in her meeting with Iran’s Special Envoy for the Middle East, Mahdi Shoushtari, held on the sidelines of the ongoing BRICS MENA Consultations. Both sides exchanged perspectives on the regional situation during the meeting. The two sides also touched base on the bilateral aspects between the two countries.
