The 28th ASEAN-India Senior Officials’ meeting was co-chaired by Secretary (East) at the Ministry of External Affairs, P Kumaran and Undersecretary for Policy at Department of Foreign Affairs of Philippines, Leo M Herrera-Lim, in Manila, Philippines, today.

In a social media post, the Ministry of External Affairs said that in the meeting, progress in the implementation of decisions of the ASEAN-India Summit held in October last year was reviewed. He added that they discussed ways to strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership as the year 2026 mark as ASEAN-India Year of Maritime Cooperation.
