Scientists to train farmers in various agro techniques, says Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, during his visit to Chhattisgarh, attended a program related to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin, organized in Ambikapur today. On this occasion, he handed over the keys to the eligible beneficiaries of the scheme. The Union Agriculture Minister said that under the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan, a team of agricultural scientists will visit various districts of Chhattisgarh from May 29 to train farmers in agricultural techniques.
Earlier, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviewed the work of the Panchayat and Rural Development and Agriculture Departments in Raipur. He stated that realizing the vision of a developed India involves prioritizing the concept of advanced villages and prosperous farmers. The Union Minister also emphasized linking the ‘Amrit Sarovar’ scheme with local livelihoods.
