The Supreme Court is likely to hear issues related to the manufacturing and sale of Green Crackers in Delhi-NCR today. Earlier, the top court heard the matter on the 26th of last month and permitted certified manufacturers to produce Green Crackers with the condition of not selling them in the prohibited Delhi-NCR. The court had also asked the Centre to take a fresh look at the absolute ban on the manufacture of firecrackers in the national capital.

Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has said that Delhi government will advocate for the use of Green Crackers during the festival, so that people can celebrate joyfully.
